As our Head of People & Wellbeing you are key organisational senior leader and part of the People and Culture division responsible for the P&C Business Partnering, Payroll, People Enquiries and Safety, Health & Wellbeing functions. You will lead and oversee execution of cultural change and people engagement initiatives within business divisions and proactively lead the delivery, providing insight into effective People & Culture strategic objectives to support business outcomes.

**You’ll make an impact by**:

- Inspiring and setting the direction for our People and Wellbeing teams, creating a culture of exceptional delivery, teamwork, commitment to excellence and a professional ethic that enables the achievement of team and organisational objectives.
- Oversee the provision of strategic people advice and support in the development and implementation of people initiatives in alignment with Great Southern Bank strategy.
- Accountable for the oversight and governance of payroll, employee due diligence and safety systems.
- Oversee the provision of timely and accurate advice in employee relations and enterprise agreement to ensure our people relations remain harmonious, and our team members are thriving, having an eye to market practices.
- Work with P&C Business Partners and stakeholders to evolve people plans, ensuring progress of talent and diversity initiatives with a view to skills and capabilities of the future.
- Partner with peers to deliver outcomes ensuring a cohesive execution and business relevance of our People Strategy.
- Develop P&C talent, ensuring our people and teams deliver across team boundaries and continue to grow their capability.

**Do things differently with us**

**To succeed in this role, you will have**:

- Proven experience and results leading successful P&C teams and programs by working in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Extensive experience within a leadership role, Human Resources or Business Management.
- Expertise in delivering programs of work and planning which deliver behavioural change and measurable outcomes.
- Significant internal consulting experience working closely with key Executives and Senior Leaders with the ability to effectively lead projects and influence senior stakeholders.
- Skilled presenter to Boards and Executives, demonstrating ability to translate strategy to tangible actions and measurable results.
- An ability to understand and interpret employment legislation and work with key experts to ensure organisational obligations are met and understood.
