**About the Role**
As the Head of Safety and Wellbeing, you will have the unique opportunity to drive the safety agenda and strategy for this national business. Your role will involve inspiring cultural and behavioral change, strengthening safety and wellbeing culture throughout the regions, and partnering with the executive team to effect inspired change.

**Responsibilities**:

- Advise and coach leaders across the business to deliver contemporary programs and services that promote sustainable change in safety performance, mindset, and behaviors.
- Manage all aspects of health, safety, wellbeing, and workers' compensation to ensure a safe work environment.
- Develop and implement a long-term strategy focused on improving safety, addressing psychosocial risks, and integrating a new safety management system.
- Partner with key stakeholders to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and positive change.
- Support the Executive team in maturing the safety culture and leadership throughout the organization.
- Lead and develop the team to improve safety performance and culture.
- Oversee the provision of technology supporting health, safety, wellbeing, and injury management programs.
- Manage the safety management system to ensure it is contemporary, risk-based, and compliant with best practices.
- Bring new ideas and contemporary approaches to safety direction, planning, implementation, and outcomes.
