It is part of a continuous recycling process which we call Clean Loop Recycling, to ensure that fewer resources are used, less energy is wasted, and containers do not end up in our oceans, streets, or landfill. We’re proud to be collecting containers across Australia, with over 320 collection points across NSW. In addition, we have state-of-the-art Recycling Centres in Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia and Victoria.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced **Payroll Manager** to join our friendly and dedicated Finance Team
As the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the organizations entire payroll function, ensuring best practice and compliance is maintained at all times.
With support from the Payroll Associate, you will be responsible end-to-end processing of company payroll, remitting payroll taxes and government reporting as well as preparing monthly, quarterly and year-end payroll statement. You will also play a key role in process and system improvement initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities**:
As the Payroll Manager, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to
- Ensuring all payroll transactions are completed in an accurate and timely manner, including, Processing Superannuation, Payroll taxes, FBT taxes, PAYG deductions.
- Managing the preparation of weekly pay runs for approval.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant state and federal legislation and requirements, payroll industry best practice, applicable awards and employee contracts.
- Acting as first point of contact for all payroll enquiries, including portal queries.
- Managing, mentoring and providing guidance to the Payroll Associate.
- Liaising closely with our P&O and Finance teams.
- Cooperating with internal/external auditors to complete and provide required information during regular audits.
- System administration, including, ensuring our employee payroll information is up to date, establishing user accounts and liaising with third party vendors (HR3 & HumanForce) to ensure systems are fit for TOMRA’s operational requirements.
**Qualifications** As a successful Payroll Manager at TOMRA, you will ideally have the following attributes**:
- 5+ years experience in a payroll role.
- Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting/Finance or similar.
- A comprehensive knowledge of federal and modern awards, Enterprise Agreements & statutory payroll legislation in Australia.
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Patience, compassion and respect for others.
- Strong communication skills to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- A hands on and proactive approach to supporting the payroll function.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
