Disability Support Worker

**ORMEAU**:
**Are you compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to making a positive difference?** We are seeking a caring and proactive Female Disability Support Worker to join our team and support individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives.
Working a rotation roster from Monday to Saturday each week.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Providing personalised support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with daily activities
- Attending appointments and advocating on behalf of clients
- Supporting clients with household chores and maintaining a clean, safe environment
- Offering companionship to promote social engagement and emotional well-being
- Documenting support provided through clear and detailed report writing
- Assisting with mobility, personal care, and other needs as required
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Previous experience in disability support or care work is required with experience in ASD and Physical Disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must speak fluent English due to clients request.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude
- Valid driver’s license, blue card and yellow card
- Willingness to undertake relevant training and background checks
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $35.50 - $36.50 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 10 per week
