**1300apprentice currently have a fantastic opportunity for motivated and driven individuals to commence a 1st-year Electrical Apprenticeship.**

Our partner employer specialises in designing, manufacturing and installing electrical main junction boards and cabinets. You will gain valuable experience working on projects, installing electrical switchboard and cabling infrastructure, smart building systems and management. Working on a range of sites across Sydney, including construction.

This 4-year apprenticeship will see you undertake a **Certificate III in Electrotechnology,** leading to a highly rewarding career.

**What you will learn**:(but not limited to)
- Installation of electrical mains switchboards
- Running cables
- Termination of cables
- Install, test and terminate electrical circuits
- Install cable trays
- Conduit work
- Use of hand and power tools
- Customer service
- Completing paperwork and records

**You must have**:

- Driver’s licence is not essential however, you must be able to travel to and from work sites
- Basic knowledge of using basic hand tools
- White card or willing to obtain one
- Willing to undertake drug and alcohol screening

- Have a passion for becoming a highly skilled electrician
- Not afraid of physically demanding works
- Well presented
- Competent at maths
- Great work ethic
- Dedicated and keen to learn
- Willing to Follow direction
- Committed to completing a 4-year apprenticeship.
