Impact Drill & Blast offers integrated drill and blast services to the quarrying, civil and mining sectors, covering every stage of the project from survey, blast design, mark out, drilling and bulk explosives supply to firing of blasts. It is part of Sichuan Yahua Industrial Group, a leading explosives manufacturer, lithium producer and mining service conglomerate in China.

**About the Role**

We are rapidly growing in this industry, as part of this growth our Operations team has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Operations Coordinator to join our team based in our Head Office in Brisbane.

As the Junior Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting our Operations Coordinator for overseeing duties of day-to-day operations and assist in the daily operations tasks across our various business operations across Australia.

Ideally, this will suit someone who may be a recent graduate in a mining and/or engineering diploma or explosives technology related degree, who has a keen interest in career progression.

**The key responsibilities for this role will include supporting to our Operations Coordinator with**:

- Assisting with development of Standard Operations Procedures (SOP's) in drilling, blasting and explosives manufacturing
- Assisting in resources planning, arrangement and coordination
- Supporting operations training and people management

**We recognise this is an entry level role; however, our successful applicant will have the following**:

- The ability to acquire skills and possible experience in explosives, blasting or mining industries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- High level of professionalism and strong communication skills
- Mining engineering diploma or explosives technology related degree

As we are part of a leading explosives manufacturer, lithium producer and service conglomerate in China, it is highly desirable that you have proficiency in Chinese and English language to be able to assist in translating, liaising and implementing Yahua Headquarters’ operations management requirements.

There may be a requirement for travel to our various sites across Australia as part of this position.
