A fantastic opportunity awaits for an experienced Network Support Specialist to join a leading global mining company. This is a 12-month contract role where you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operations of corporate and production control networks across mine sites. While based in Perth, site travel is expected during this assignment. **Role and Responsibilities**:

- Respond promptly to outages on Mine Site corporate and production control networks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve outages on Village corporate and guest Wi-Fi networks.
- Follow recommended procedures and diligently document progress.
- Engage with Account Owners/SMEs, sharing performance data, and collaboratively developing remediation plans.
- Interface with site desktop support teams to investigate / resolve reported network issues.
- Work closely with internal project team to identify and remediate aged network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with teams to schedule changes, ensuring Change Requests are raised.

**Key Outcomes Expected**:

- Completion of assigned tasks within specified timelines, meeting cost and quality requirements.
- Efficiently address and resolve site network issues, minimizing downtime.
- Actively pursue work demands from internal teams, Execution Project, and Site Personnel.
- Engage in daily pre-start meetings when on-site, contributing to effective communication and collaboration.

**Specific Skills/Expertise**:

- Proficiency in Radio Frequency (RF) technologies.
- Strong knowledge of switching, fibre terminals, and networking.
- Familiarity with storage and computer systems.
- Good understanding of Cyber Security principles and best practices.
