- Western Diagnostic Pathology is part of Healius’ Pathology division, one of Australia’s leading providers of private medical laboratory and pathology services. We operate about 100 medical laboratories and 2,000 patient collection centres across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia. Each year, we provide one in every three pathology services in Australia, extending from exclusively servicing some of Australia’s largest and most complex private and public hospitals to small and remote Australian Aboriginal communities.**About the role**
- We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Communication with medical/vet staff, both onsite and off-site
- Answering enquiries, coordinating courier and medical centre collections, pathology/vet pathology results assistance
- General administration duties
- Maintain customer confidentiality
- Liaise with laboratory staff

**About you**
- To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
- Sound typing/data entry skills (approximately 50 wpm with 98% accuracy)
- Previous experience or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels of an organisation
- A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures
- Must be a cohesive and contributing member of the team and display positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes
- Strong time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong customer focus and general office skills
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
