**Transport Services** delivers safe, reliable and accessible transport infrastructure and services to all Victorians.

**Registration & Licensing Management (RLM)** is a Division within Transport Services, that governs delivery of registration and licensing services and other driver and vehicle safety programs, including (but not limited to) compliance and assurance of associated contracts and road transport regulation underpinning safety and productivity in Victoria.

**Your outcomes and accountabilties,**
- Under general functional supervision, independently research, analyse, develop, review, monitor and interpret registration and licensing policy and legislation that informs decision making, minimises risk and contributes to improved service delivery.
- Develop operational policy proposals, Requests for Information, Requests for Modification, policy standards, and briefings and correspondence on operational policy matters for consideration by senior management.
- In accordance with project scope, co-ordinate the planning of change activities/projects, and evaluate Modification Proposals to ensure appropriate solutions and effective delivery on time and within budget.
- Contribute to the development and review of registration and licensing policy standards, business rules legislative amendments and delegations that will achieve improved outcomes.

**Key Selection Criteria**

You’ll be expected to conduct research and analysis on emerging and existing practices, standards, and technology to recommend operational policy directions. You'll need to write clear and persuasive policy proposals, briefings, and correspondence for both internal and external stakeholders.

Using independent judgment to make decisions on complex issues where policy standards or precedents are not always defined is crucial. You will also be responsible for coordinating change activities and projects in line with implementation timelines.
