Control & Electric is a Canberra based Australian Owned Company now in its 40th year of operation. We specialise in Mechanical Electrical and Building Automation Controls for all types HVAC systems and environmental controls in the commercial building and construction industry. **Duties & Responsibilities**
- Ongoing maintenance, implementation and monitoring of our company cloud-based WHS management systems
- Promote company-wide WHS culture including a ‘continuous improvement’ approach to all WHS policies and procedures.
- Actively attend and visit construction sites to monitor and assess company staff compliance to policies and procedures
- Monitor / maintain safety records, documents, employee licenses and qualifications
- Schedule and deliver internal Company WHS training
- Perform and maintain company-wide WHS internal audits
- Organise and participate in Company Safety Committee meetings

**Skills & Experience**
- Have a passion for Safety and be an experienced safety professional with a strong technical background gained ideally within the Building and Construction Industry.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Possess excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellent people and communication skills.
- Able to work as part of a team and develop a strong repour with all company staff members
- Be a Self-Starter able to work unsupervised and as a team member
- Be an Australian citizen and hold valid Australian Driver's License
