**Position Overview**:
Our renowned client is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Technical Field Officer to join their team as part of their commitment to delivering high-quality maintenance services. Reporting to the District Manager, the Technical Field Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of maintenance works in line with contract conditions. The part involves overseeing Proactive and Reactive Maintenance, Demountable Installations and Releases, as well as Upgrading projects.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate in the procurement of resources from Local Contractors for Proactive maintenance servicing as per established programs.
- Develop Proactive Maintenance Programs for sites under your responsibility.
- Conduct thorough site audits to ensure compliance with contractual standards and timelines for both Reactive and Proactive works.
- Perform site inspections to assess client needs and job requirements.
- Coordinate Local Contractors for quotes on specialist items.
- Review and submit quotations and prepare budget estimates.
- Supervise maintenance projects, demountable relocations, and ensure Contractor claims are in line with project completion.
- Engage with School Principals for site access and work programming.
- Prepare specifications, sketches, and detailed scopes of work for on-site projects.
- Implement Company WHS and QA procedures.
- Maintain Company record keeping and provide work-executed drawings for alterations projects.
- Keep the line Manager informed about the progress of maintenance programs.
- Carry out emergency response services as required, including 24/7 availability when necessary.
- Other duties as requested by the Manager.
**Experience and Skills Required**:
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Self-motivated and capable of working with mínimal supervision.
- Practical written and verbal communication skills.
- A minimum of five years experience in the commercial building industry.
- Valid Drivers' license.
