**About the facility**

Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.

**About the role**

The Barwon South West Public Health Unit is seeking a permanent part time, Community Partnerships Officer, based in our Geelong office, to work across the Barwon catchment, as well as the broader Barwon South West Region.

The position will join an existing team and work with partners and stakeholder to implement the Barwon South West Population Health Catchment plan. The role will focus on capacity building and partnership development to enable collaborative action towards priority areas identified in the catchment plan.

The desired applicant will have:

- Excellent skills and knowledge in health promotion, planning implementation and evaluation
- Highly developed partnership development skills and experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member
