APG is currently seeking experienced Operations Manager (Events) for a 12-month contract within a Government Sector based in Sydney CBD.

**Pay Rate: $600 Per Day + Super**

**Location: Sydney CBD**

**Contract: 12 Months + Possibility of extension**

**9am - 5:30 pm Monday to Friday**
Additional hours will be required the week leading up to and during the festival, including work at night. 6 days per week may be required during the festival period.

**The Role**
Vivid Sydney, the largest festival of light, music, ideas and food in the Southern Hemisphere and the largest event in Australia, is owned, managed and produced by Destination NSW. Vivid Sydney has been integral in positioning Sydney as the creative capital of the Asia-Pacific and, instrumental in driving visitation to Sydney and stimulating the city’s visitor economy.

- _Much more hands on with delivery side of the festival_
- _2-3 direct reports_
- _This role is very hands on during the festival_

**Essential Criteria**
- Experience in large scale multiday festivals
- Experience with Operations budgets
- Experience in supplier resourcing and procurement
- Time management skills
- Extensive skills in Microsoft office
- Experience working onsite in a festival
- Government experience preferred
