_**About the Role**_

Join our team in one of Sydney’s premier high‑rise buildings as the Lead Handyman, where your broad maintenance skills and strong experience will be highly valued. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the building’s common areas, tenancies (as required), finishes and general upkeep are maintained to the highest standard.
- **Key responsibilities include**:_
- Conducting reactive and preventative maintenance tasks across a high-rise commercial tower in the CBD.
- Performing a range of trades‑related work: minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical (basic / minor tasks only), painting/repairs, door/lock mechanisms, finishing touches, caulking, tiling, etc.
- Liaising with building management, tenanat managers and contractors to coordinate larger jobs, quotes, scheduling.
- Keeping a high standard of presentation, responsiveness to building management and teanant requests, documenting jobs and maintaining maintenance logs.
- Assisting in managing subcontractors for specialist tasks, supervising contractors in common areas, reporting faults and ensuring follow‑up.
- **What We’re Looking For**_
- 5+ years’ experience working as a handyman/maintenance technician in a high‑rise residential or commercial building, preferably in the Sydney CBD.
- Broad competence across general maintenance: carpentry, plumbing, painting/finishes, basic electrical tasks, hardware repairs.
- Experience working safely in a high‑rise environment
- Valid White Card (construction induction).
- Ability to work independently (and in a small team), plan and schedule tasks, communicate professionally with building management, residents/tenants, contractors.
- Excellent attention to detail, high standard of workmanship and reliability.
- Strong problem‑solving skills; ability to prioritise tasks in a busy, tight‑turnaround building environment.
- NSW driver’s licence and own tools preferred.
