**About the Role**
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Advisor to join our VE Quality and Policy team to promote and facilitate a quality culture.
In this role, you will work closely with VET teaching departments and partners to provide knowledge and skills to support Swinburne's commitment to the delivery of high-quality training and assessment practices and ensure compliance with the regulatory frameworks and government funding agreement.
The VE Quality and Policy (VEQP) unit operates within VET Operations. The unit is responsible for the implementation of systematic and strategic approaches to education and quality across VE. The unit contributes to the achievement of the University’s 2025 vision of’ ‘people and technology working together to build a better world’ through the development and implementation of robust quality assurance and improvement processes that will ensure Swinburne students have access to high-quality education that result in outstanding graduate outcomes.
**About You**
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- A sound understanding of VET quality and policy requirements and specialist knowledge of relevant regulatory and funding body requirements and their implications for the University.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate, liaise and work with people at all levels both internal and external to the University with professionalism and appreciation of sensitive issues.
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to prepare reports and presentations.
- Highly developed knowledge of MS Office suite including MS Project or other related Project Management software and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet.
**Qualifications**
- Relevant qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
- TAE 40116 (Certification IV Training & Assessment) or equivalent is preferred.
