North Western Program Alliance (NWPA) consists of three Alliance partners - John Holland, KBR and MTM and the client (LXRP), working together as one team to achieve shared goals.

We are currently looking for an experienced **Quality Advisor** to join us, based on our **Keon Parade** project - removing a dangerous and congested level crossing, building a 750m-long rail bridge over road and building a brand-new Keon Park Station.

**About the role**:
Whilst you’ll be initially based on the North Western Program Alliance on the Keon Parade project, this is a long-term career opportunity within John Holland.

Reporting to the Senior Quality Advisor, as a Quality Advisor you will be required to support the implementation and monitoring of the quality objectives and requirements. Together with your team, you will ensure risks and other issues do not adversely impact the surety of successful project delivery. You will also assist with the inspection and test requirements.

**Responsibilities of the role include;**:

- Under direction, develop and recommend inspection and sampling techniques, quality control plans, process control procedures, testing and analysis procedures to ensure that products meet specifications and standards
- Document quality issues and performance measures for management review
- Assist with the implementation of the organisational Quality Management System on the project to ensure quality objectives and targets are met
- Prepare audit reports summarising production and quality issues together with recommend corrective actions
- Identify and report quality objectives, requirements, risks and other issues that may adversely impact the surety of successful project delivery to the Senior Quality Engineer
- Provide technical advice and assistance to management for quality-related activities
- Understand compliance and reporting procedures and processes
- Manage the reporting of non-compliances and ensure dispositions, remedial solutions and corrective actions are effectively implemented
- Review subcontractors' quality documentation and ensure they fulfil their quality system obligations
- Attend inspections to ensure works are compliant with design and project requirements

**To be successful in this key role, you will have;**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Building, Construction, Quality Management or Project Management
- Relevant tertiary or trade qualifications along with broad work experience in rail or infrastructure
- More than 3 years’ experience in a quality representative role
- Quality assurance experience gained preferably within the construction industry on Major Rail or Infrastructure Projects
- Experience in developing and implementing project QA management systems
