**Description**

Followmont Transport have a new opportunity to join our Health & Safety team as a Safety Advisor. This position will be driving the administration function and providing support within our Health and Safety team. You will be a part of a busy and fast-paced environment supporting critical day-to-day operations and delivering on key projects. This full-time role would suit a motivated and enthusiastic professional with demonstrated problem solving and time management skills.

**The Role**:

- Fulltime Permanent Position | Monday to Friday
- Company Laptop and Mobile Phone Provided
- Providing administrative support including collating data, data entry, creating reports and promotional material
- Internal auditing and providing advice for continual improvement
- Provide advice and support to Supervisors and Managers in meeting their WHS obligations whilst providing exceptional operational service
- Identifying and contributing to safety improvements and safety and wellbeing programs
- Facilitate the research and development of Standard Operating Procedures [SOPs], focusing on documenting operational tasks with all safety considerations identified
- Undertaking Risk Assessments and providing written reports
- Must have the ability to positively work with all levels of the business to achieve strategy plans, objectives and targets
- Coordinate, participate and support meaningful Health and Safety Committee meetings
- Coordinate and support emergency response training annual ‘Evacuation’ exercises throughout the company
- Be available for travel as required

**Qualifications**

**Qualifications**:

- Cert IV Health & Safety - minimum of 3 three years
- Have worked previously in the field of health and safety
- Previous experience within the transport industry or warehousing is highly regarded
