**Your new company**

An amazing opportunity to join a state government department as a Project Scheduler to manage the program and project schedules on a temporary contract. 12-Month contract with the opportunity to be extended for another 12 months

**Your new role**

A local State Government Department is looking for an experienced project scheduler to manage the project and program schedules.
- Develop, manage, update, and monitor project resource loadings.
- Provides timely reports on Project progress
- Undertake research to identify the current and future needs
- Analyse project schedules including comparing cost/resource curves to actuals, tracking float consumption, and change request impact analysis to ensure contractor is compliant with scheduling specification.
- Interprets project team’s needs, assesses requirements, and identifies solutions to non-standard requests
- Liaises with project teams regarding the scheduling of activities, development of project plans and projections, resource loading requirements, and the identification of milestones.
- Liaises with internal and external stakeholders on the development and delivery of project schedules.
- Develop reviews and maintain processes and procedures relating to the Planning and scheduling functions
- Develops and maintains appropriate scheduling standards and ensures advantage is taken of appropriate technology.
- Effectively communicate impact analysis for potential delays and changes to project team.
- Any other duties as required

Experience and skills required for this job role:

- Well-developed project and contract management skills
- Well-developed leadership skills/ability to motivate, mentor and coach others
- Highly developed research, analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
- Technical awareness directly relevant to the program area
- Experience time, cost and resource management aspects of the planning, design, and construction
- Ability to competently us computer software programs
