You will be a valued member of the Payment Operations team within Banking Operations. Your team manage customer transaction disputes, manual payment requests, and exception processing.
You will be helping Great Southern Bank customers recover funds who have been victims of card fraud, have transferred funds incorrectly, or have not received the goods or services that they have paid for. You’ll also be assisting to educate our customers on how they can protect themselves from the many scams and risks associated with EFT and card transactions. Moments like these are very stressful for customers, so your commitment to customer service and your solutions-focused approach provides them with confidence that we are supportive throughout all phases of their banking journey.
**Responsibilities**:
- Reviewing and investigating card and transaction dispute cases
- Manage BPay, EFT, NPP, Visa and Mastercard dispute cases to achieve the best result for our customers
- Assist Manager and Senior Officer with escalations and administrative duties
- Maintaining records to meet reporting requirements
**Skills & Experience**:
- 12 months experience in customer service or financial services industry
- Experience in Financial services is preferred but not essential
- Professional phone manner
- Keen attention to detail
- Problem solver
- Competent computer skills with high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Comfort in making/taking phone calls for card and payment disputes
