**About the Role**

With Storm Season now upon us, we are heading into a period where there is a greater chance of storms and floods, which is why we’re taking the steps now to ensure our team is fully equipped in preparation.

We’re looking for a **Home Assessor** to manage home and building claims, using your technical skills, and understanding of the claims process to determine the best outcome for our customers. You will build and maintain strong relationships with our customers and repairer network, whilst providing a high level of customer service representing the Youi brand. The area to be covered within this role would include Brisbane and Western Suburbs.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Completing home, contents and building assessments in the field or desktop
- Overseeing the quality of the entire claims process
- Ensuring compliance with legislation
- Detecting and reducing fraud
- Identifying recovery opportunity
- Achieving fast turnaround times and controlling costs
- Being the face of our business and always providing awesome service

**About You**

You will be a driven individual, with the ability to adapt and work autonomously, as well as in a team environment.
- A background in Home Claims, Assessing or Property Management would be highly regarded
- Knowledge and understanding of the building industry
- An understanding of the insurance industry
- Strong communication and negotiating skills
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- High attention to detail and a passion for providing awesome customer service to our customers and service provider network
- The drive to succeed and progress within the Assessing Team and the broader business
- Proficient in World, Outlook, Excel etc.
