**About the Department**:

**Your Role**:
The Business Manager will lead a small corporate services unit, with responsibility for regional financial management, human resource management, fleet and day-to-day regional office operations. The Business Manager will report to the Executive Director Regional Operations, and will support the Executive Director and the Regional Director to deliver on regional priorities.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Monitor and report on corporate compliance and budget performance of the region and actively participate in the development of business plans and budget submissions in consultation with senior officers and other staff.
- Monitor the region's human resource function and advise senior officers and other staff on human resource issues, including recruitment and selection processes, review of role descriptions and selection reports.
- Provide advice to senior officers and other staff in relation to current and emerging corporate governance and organisational issues which impact on the effectiveness, quality of service delivery and the achievement of outcomes of region.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the regional office, ensuring efficiency in office procedures and systems, priorities are met, deadlines achieved and the office functions effectively.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure the effective management, and maintenance of site facilities and resources including fleet, to ensure effective management and use of available resources.
- Coordinate the development, implementation, operation and continuous improvement of the region's systems, corporate policies and procedures related to purchasing, asset management systems, financial systems and reporting, human resource management and administration systems.
