**About the role**:
As a **Patient Services Assistant**, you’ll ensure maximum patient comfort whilst maintaining efficient and timely service throughout the hospital. You may be required to transfer patients, specimens, equipment or documents between a variety of different departments around the hospital. This is a physically demanding role in a dynamic, fast paced hospital environment.

**Our team operate across Monday-Sunday with shift times varying from 6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, 2-10pm and 3-11pm.**

**Your day to day tasks might include**:

- Assisting and supporting clinical staff in the provision of patient care
- Providing patient transport; transferring patients to and from wards and departments,
- Transferring files, specimen samples and pharmacy boxes to different parts of the hospital
- Moving complex and valuable medical equipment

**About you**:

- Displays a positive and resilient nature
- Ability to deliver high levels of service to customers, with a focus on patients' comfort and needs
- Flexible, reliable and ability to work under pressure within a dynamic environment
- Exceptional communication skills
- In line with the required legislation, a current National Police check, Covid Vaccinations, Working with Children (Blue Card), and evidence of immunity to a variety of vaccine preventable diseases will be required as part of the standard recruitment and selection process for this position._
