Pace Vic are excited to exclusively partner with Ronstan International who are now on the lookout for an exceptional new Logistics Manager to join their team based in Braeside. Ronstan International, a member of the Wichard Group, are recognised internationally as one of the top three manufacturers of sailboat hardware and have state of the art manufacturing facilities in Melbourne, Denmark and Indonesia. From humble beginnings, the company was established over 70 years ago in a small factory located in Southeast Melbourne and has gone from strength to strength to become the force in the market it is today.

Due to continuous market domination within their niche, and with the organisation moving into a new phase of growth, Ronstan are looking for a passionate and dynamic Supply Chain Manager to assume global responsibility for the organisations Logistics and Inventory Supply. This role will oversee warehousing, domestic and international freight, purchasing and production planning.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Leading a team of three, ensuring target levels with regards to logistics, purchasing, production and inventory are set and performance metrics are met
- Responsible for the management of warehousing, domestic and international freight, purchasing, production planning and inventory control
- Being a driving force with regard to operational improvement, optimising production decisions, and enabling swift adaptation to shifting market conditions
- Establish and maintain commercial relationships with suppliers including negotiation on pricing, terms and condition of supply, as well communication regarding new products, specifications, quality requirements and warranty issues
- Undertake forecasting and logistic analysis of all finished inventory including distributed and manufactured products, raw materials and components

**About you**:

- 5+ years in a management and leadership or operational management experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment essential
- International logistics management essential
- Must have exceptional communication skills and a proven history of strong stakeholder management / commercial relationships
- A continuous improvement, growth mindset is crucial
- Exposure to Microsoft D365 is advantageous
- Engineering, metals, fabrication background advantageous
- A passion for yachting, sailing or marine industry overall is highly advantageous
