Hatch is looking for an experienced Study Manager capable of managing capital studies in the resources sector in South Australia. The role will be based in Hatch’s Adelaide office.

The Study Manager will be responsible for developing and managing capital projects through the project lifecycle, including business case and option development studies and into project execution.
- Overall, responsible to deliver the study within the scope, cost and schedule baseline, and ensure that the study is delivered within the safety, quality and environmental best practices set out by Hatch and the client for the study.
- Provides leadership to the study team and creates a highly committed and aligned team environment with all who can influence the study’s outcomes.
- Coordinates all client contacts, including major correspondence between Hatch and the client, and maintains working relationships at all levels throughout the period of the study.
- Manages the study delivery process to meet the owner’s goals, objectives and expectations.
- Manages Hatch’s business interests, to include: the prime contract, revenues, receivables, project viability and profitability.
- Resolves problems and coordinates the final handover of the study to the client.

**You bring to the role**:

- Minimum 10 years’ experience in leading major studies in the resources sector
- Experience working in South Australia preferred.
- Advanced safety awareness
- Ability to function well in a team environment
- Experience in engineering, procurement and construction, and other project-related activities, their interfaces and interdependencies
- Strong customer/client focus
- Well-developed written and oral communication/negotiation skills
