**About the role**
WesTrac is seeking an experienced Injury Management Advisor to join the team at Tomago.
Reporting to the Group Manager - Safety Sustainability and Risk, this role will see you utilising your experience to facilitate our return-to-work process across NSW and ACT. With a team of over 1450 employees, our Injury Management Advisor is also responsible for the management of Worker’s Compensation and Income Protection Claims as well as general fitness for work. This will include the coordination and reviewing of random Drug & Alcohol testing across all NSW & ACT sites.
As a key member of the Safety, Security and Risk team, you will leverage your knowledge to provide support and advice to key leaders throughout the business through the development, implementation, and facilitation of Return-to-Work programs. Your ability to deliver outstanding service and develop valuable relationships with internal and external stakeholders will see you make a genuine impact to the lives of our people.
This is a permanent full time position working Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.
**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications within the field of Injury Management or similar discipline
- SIRA Return to Work Qualifications highly regarded
- Comprehensive knowledge, understanding and ability to interpret legislation, industrial instruments, policies and procedures relevant to Australian and state specific Workers Compensation and Injury Management
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive matters appropriately
- Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated analytical, influencing, problem solving and negotiation skills to effectively resolve issues in the workplace
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally
- Ability to travel to remote locations/regional branches as required
