**The Business**

CSG Talent is working with a civil consultancy in Melbourne who have a national presence. They are currently looking for a civil designer/senior civil designer to join the business in the new CBD location. They have offices across most states in Australia, meaning you could work from different locations, especially if relocation was ever of interest.

They boast a strong reputation in the market and are very successful working on government transport projects and sizeable urban developments. This is an excellent opportunity for a designer who might be looking for a business that will invest in them with internal and external training and have very experienced people to learn and seek guidance from.

**The Role**

As the civil designer, you will report to the senior engineer and work alongside him to produce designs in 12D for projects across in Victoria as well as locations around Australia. Dependent on your experience we would also look at a senior designer that has some experience mentoring junior designers.

**Civil Designer Duties**
- Work alongside senior designers/civil engineers to prepare designs for construction.
- 12D modelling and drafting for urban developments.
- Taking part in design reviews.
- Design for local road, stormwater drainage and sewer network design.
- Work in accordance with Vic Roads codes and standards.

**Civil Designer Qualifications & Experience**
- A minimum of 5 years' experience within civil design.
- Able to use 12D or Civil3D.
- Experience working on Brown or Greenfield developments.
- Worked with or an understanding of local government.
