Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for Civil Designer - 12 D to join our Melbourne office on a contract basis to work across a portfolio of brownfields EPCM projects across Onshore and Offshore oil and gas assets. Civil 12D expertise would be greatly valued with current project works including numerous post-earthquake land slip repairs, roadworks, and drainage designs in Papua New Guinea.

**Responsibilities**
- Join the Civil & Structural Design Division to deliver projects from scope and through to project completion
- Design, Supervision and checking of 2D / 3D modelling of structural components using civil 12D and AutoCAD formats
- Prepare Civil and Geotechnical repair and remediation drawings
- Prepare procedural layouts and sequences for major civil work fronts
- Liaising with the other discipline teams to ensure we meet the project outcomes and schedule
- Involved with proposals / bid preparations and other business development
- Undertake and supervise 3D modelling of Civil components using civil 12D and AutoCAD formats- Deliver civil works construction staging layouts and final design drawings.

Skills / Qualifications:

- Experience in Brownfield Oil and Gas Structural Design
- 12 years minimum experience in the Oil and Gas industry
- At least 8 years shall have been in the civil and geotechnical with strong exposure to and knowledge of the civil discipline
- Experience in Onshore or Offshore site environment and site surveying/scoping
- Demonstrated experience with engineering teams to deliver complex projects whilst exceeding client expectations
- Civil 12D capable, PDMS Design and AutoCAD valued
