**What's the role?**

The Junior Finance Analyst role will support commercial analysis, budgeting, financial planning and forecasting, and business intelligence reporting as well as strategic projects across the business.

This role is suited to an individual with strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving capabilities who can evaluate and analyse a broad range of information and effectively communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders.

**What will you be doing?**
- Assisting with the annual business strategic planning and budgeting process
- Supporting ongoing financial performance monitoring and forecasting processes
- Participating in the ongoing monitoring of business performance on a quarterly, monthly and weekly basis
- Undertaking financial analysis to develop insights into business performance and drivers to support better decision making
- Assisting with the development, maintenance and use of the corporate financial model
- Liaising with key commercial stakeholders and service providers to understand business problems and develop innovative solutions to help drive value for the organisation
- Assisting the broader Finance team with the preparation and delivery of timely and accurate results for the Plenti Group, including statutory financial statements, management reports and analysis, along with regulatory and external reporting
- Creating and maintaining business performance reporting including business KPI reporting, with a focus on automation of reporting wherever possible
- Undertaking analysis of market and competitor information to provide business insights

The role is suited to a person who has a strong work ethic and has recently graduated from a finance, accounting or STEM degree and now wants to continue to develop these skills and their business insight capabilities in a rapidly growing company with a dynamic business environment. - Recently graduated from a finance, accounting or STEM degree
- You are smart, learn quickly and can take accountability for consistently delivering high quality work
- Strong commercial acumen, communication skills and presentation abilities supported by consistent attention to detail - you take pride in delivering work that is “right”
- Good understanding of Excel and PowerPoint, with an interest in Power Query, VBA and SQL
- An understanding of financial modelling and an analytical skillset
- Flexibility and ability to build relationships, operate effectively within cross-functional teams, and influence business partners
- Self-starter with an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
