**About the role at Lyka**

This role is responsible for assisting in financial and planning functions to facilitate Lyka running smoothly, as well as performing various analytical tasks providing insights to improve operations and lead to Lyka’s long term prosperity. In this role, you will need to be comfortable with extensive cross-functional collaboration, informing other teams’ procedures and decision-making and leveraging their expertise in your own work. You will also be empowered to maximise your capabilities, and deliver positive outcomes in a manner that will bolster your career growth while making a meaningful impact on the company.

What you will do?
- Assist in and own various pieces of high-impact analytical work, facilitating improvements to the company’s gross margin, internal reporting and KPIs, while informing other teams’ decisions
- Support financial reporting and analysis
- Support the planning function, employing technical skills, business knowledge, and strong communication to help keep the business running smoothly
- Develop a broad-reaching and nuanced understanding of the business, and utilise it to provide insights for other functions on a regular basis
- Identify and create efficiencies in existing processes (such as modes of calculation for particular metrics, such as production efficiency)
- Live and work in accordance with Lyka’s values and principles at the workplace

**Seniority**

**Junior** - A role for someone with some basic skills, good motivation and ability to learn. Typically 1-2 years of experience is required.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Insights Presentation - Organize and present data to effectively communicate findings
- Financial Research and Benchmarking - Conduct research and analyze financial data to identify industry trends and benchmark performance
- Operational and Financial Reporting - Analyze financial data to prepare timely reports to support business decisions
