**Position Information**:
Cooma Public School is proudly located in Ngarigo Country. We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the country on which we are privileged to learn, play and work upon. We are excitedly growing in size with our projected student enrolments for 2025 being 230.
At CPS we are committed to preparing our students for life beyond school by providing challenging and enriching learning opportunities and supporting all students to achieve their best. 1. Proven ability to strengthen a dynamic and responsive school-wide approach to student inclusion, wellbeing, attendance, and behaviour management processes enabling every student to connect, succeed, and thrive.
2. An approachable and visible leader with the ability to demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and outstanding interpersonal skills to enhance school culture and strengthen positive partnerships with all stakeholders.
3. Demonstrated ability to lead, model, and implement data-driven, evidence-based practices, catering to diverse student abilities, while building capacity, managing performance, and fostering collective efficacy within teams to ensure improvement in student outcomes.
**General Selection Criteria**:
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
- 2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs- 3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams- 4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents- 5.
