**About the Role**
Working a 24/7 rotating roster, The Mental Health Support Worker is responsible for ensuring the day to day support and engagement of residents of Chrysalis by assisting residents with psychosocial supports, independent living skills and overseeing social and recreational activities in a recovery orientated and trauma informed way. We are currently seeking to fill numerous part-time and casual positions. We are flexible around current study commitments and encourage applicants that are currently studying.
**This role is responsible for**:
Ensuring the day to day support and engagement of residents of Chrysalis by assisting residents with psychosocial supports, independent living skills and overseeing social and recreational activities in a recovery orientated and trauma informed way.
**About You**
You will have demonstrated experience in the following areas:

- Professional experience in working with people who live with a mental illness, intellectual disability, or acquired brain injury.
- Understanding of Recovery-Orientated practice.
- Understanding of trauma informed service delivery
- Experience in medication management.
- Ability to work across a 24/7 roster, including weekend, public holidays

**Qualifications**
- Certificate 4 in Mental Health or equivalent tertiary qualification.

**OR**
- Currently undertaking Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology or equivalent
- Maintenance of a full, unrestricted South Australian Driver’s License
- National Police Certificate
- DHS Vulnerable person related employment check or:

- DHS Aged Care employment check or
- DHS Disability employment check or
- DHS Working with Children Check
- Maintenance of First Aid and CPR certificate
