**Job location**:
Forensicare is the statutory agency responsible for the provision of adult forensic mental health services across Victoria. We address the needs of people experiencing mental health issues, the mental health sector, the justice sector and the general community. These services are delivered through inpatient services at Thomas Embling Hospital, community services through the Community Forensic Mental Health Service and prison-based services at several locations. This position will be based at Thomas Embling Hospital and will be required to work across all Forensicare sites.

**About the Role**:
The NDIS Clinical Project Lead role will work closely with key stakeholders both internally & externally in the developing a framework for Forensicare's interface with the NDIS, including developing consumer pathways and operational processes that promote optimal access to disability supports. This role will sit in the Forensicare Social Work Service (working with NDIS Coordinators at Thomas Embling Hospital and Prisons) and be supported by a range of senior Forensicare staff. This role will use service data, participant narratives and NDIS access/plan information to develop resources and written material to aid Forensicare's Model of Care as well as working the NDIA to develop support effective liaison and avenues for advocacy.

**Duties**:

- Work with key stakeholders and Forensicare staff in mapping the organisation's interface for the NDIS
- Play a lead role in an exciting project at the interface of forensic mental health, justice and disability.
- Develop a projects plan, attend relevant internal and external meetings/forums/training and provide regular projects update.

**What you need**:
[Nursing]
- Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).[Occupational Therapy]
- Approved degree in Occupational Therapy recognised for membership of Occupational Therapy Australia - Australian Association of Occupational Therapists.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).[Psychology]
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited course or equivalent, or a Doctorate degree in Forensic Psychology from an APS accredited course or equivalent.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).[Social Work]
- Approved degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
