**The Role**
You will partner with our Retail Marketing Team Lead to build out the CRM-owned channel strategy that will feature a variety of merchants across the CRM-owned channels. You will manage audience segmentation for a busy retail calendar and must be willing to proactively dig into growth and optimisation opportunities, driving growth for our merchants whilst keeping a customer-first mindset.
- You will lead a small team of direct marketing superstars to execute and analyse impactful retail campaigns, continuously looking for scalable ways to grow our sales and engagement.
**Your Focus**:
- Manage CRM across our owned-channel retail marketing calendar - prioritising & traffic controlling company & partner messages to the right customers at the right time based on data & insights.
- Lead a small team to support execution of Retail Marketing activity, delivering high-value programs that drive customer engagement
- Own the EDM workflow and approval of communications in accordance with the campaign programs.
- Develop the overarching governance and strategy for how marketing and communications are executed to drive growth and create loyalty, as well as enhancing our E2E process.
- Perform strategic analysis and provide insight into delivery & management of campaigns, analysing customer patterns and behaviour to drive commercial decisions.
- Measure impact of campaigns and develop new opportunities to support our growing merchant comms in a scalable way
- Develop insights and intelligence on customer segments that will support CRM/Client Engagement initiatives and drive customer loyalty.
- Build a CRM personalisation strategy to ensure communications are relevant and personalised to individual customers based on customer attributes, shopping behaviour and segmentation.
**About You**:
- Experience in CRM and within a high-growth eCommerce environment
- Enthusiastic leader with strong CRM, e-Commerce & Loyalty experience
- Experience managing a busy retail calendar of marketing activity
- Data driven to understand customer behaviour and identify actionable insights to drive growth.
- Experience owning and improving business metrics, such as frequency of purchase
- Experience using a CDP as well as tools including Google Analytics, Excel & BI.
- Exposure to tools like Leanplum, Braze, Asana highly regarded.
- Commercially aware but with the member at the forefront of your mind.
- Good verbal, written communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to provide insights and feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Experience with marketing automation and personalisation to improve delivery of campaigns.
- Possess a solution mindset and the ability to solve problems and navigate technical issues that may arise.
- Self-motivated, self-belief and emotionally intelligent.
- Comfortable pushing back to internal team members when processes are not followed.
- Thrives in fast-paced environments and can adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
