**Job Description**:
Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Travel and Accommodation Team Leader to lead our dynamic team, based in Balcatta.

Our Travel and Accommodation Team is responsible for arranging and booking site travel, including flights, room bookings and vehicle hire, for our internal Sodexo customers. The team is part of our broader Australian Command Centre, providing front line services and customer support.

You will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to your team of Travel and Accommodation Coordinators; driving, developing, and managing the team to achieve results and provide service excellence.

This position is office based, Monday to Friday, but will be the escalation point for the team across weekends and evenings, on occasion.

**Responsibilities of the role**:
**Team Management**
- Manage the day-to-day operational activities and workflow to ensure a timely, effective, and efficient service is provided to all customers.
- Be hands on and jump in to help the team where necessary.
- Manage resource and rostering to ensure effective coverage.
- Conduct regular 1-1's and coaching to enable employee development.
- Monitor and measure performance output and proactively address training needs.

**Customer Service**
- Lead by example to provide quality customer service.
- Effectively manage escalations and complex issues.
- Ensure service standards and processes are followed and evolved to meet and exceed business needs.
- Monitor performance effectiveness and conduct quality assessments.

**Strategic Management**
- Establish and maintain effective cross functional relationships and positive communication.
- Conduct month end reporting and proactively address issues or trends.
- Review and develop processes to simplify and gain efficiencies.
- Support project and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Operate within the Sodexo’s policies and procedures frameworks.

**Qualifications**:
**To be successful, you’ll need**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience managing a team.
- Previous experience in the travel industry or mobilisation of resource to site.
- Travel management systems knowledge and experience.

**Ability to**:

- Resolve issues with a sense of urgency and manage escalations.
- Understand key stakeholder requirements and build relationships.
- Effectively set and manage the achievement of performance targets.
- Communicate effectively at all levels both verbally and in writing.
- Analyse performance data and report on trends and opportunities.
- Work autonomously and prioritise effectively.
