**About the role**:
The Sustainability Analyst will support the identification of trends, risks and opportunities and provide insightful analysis and recommendations for improvements associated with existing and emerging sustainability aspects.
Success in this role will help Origin differentiate through our sustainability performance and contribute to Origin demonstrating how we are achieving Origin’s purpose and living our values.
**Why this role matters?**
- Research and undertake data gathering and analysis of sustainability aspects likely to impact Origin.
- Monitoring activity (both internal and external) on sustainability aspects that will affect Origin.
- With a focus on supporting and improving Origin’s sustainability performance, provide analysis of sustainability aspects, identify improvement opportunities and potential risks.
- Maintain a thorough and detailed knowledge and understanding of leading practice sustainability aspects and emerging areas.
- Engage with a broad range of internal stakeholders and build consultative and effective relationships.
- Assist with reporting deliverables.
**What will you bring?**
You are analytical, understand the **strategic implications of sustainability related issues, frameworks and concepts.**
- Strong research & critical reasoning skills to review market data, competitor information, global standards and leading practice to determine opportunities and impacts for Origin.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and activities concurrently to designated specifications and timeframes.
- Proactive, well organised and disciplined. Able to operate independently, set priorities and follow-through on them.
- Ability to liaise and communicate across multidiscipline teams.
- High attention to detail, strong and effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Excel, Power Point, Word.
