We are seeking a warm, professional and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to join our busy medical centre on a **Part Time basis (2-3 shifts a week).**

**Must be able to work Tuesdays 8AM to 5PM,**
**Ideally able to work** **Mon and Wed 8:30AM to 1:00PM.**

**Your primary work location will be Gordon NSW.**
**You may be required on infrequent occasions to work at Sydney CBD NSW.**

**All locations close to public transport.**

**No experience required, training provided.**

**Suitable for Uni student. A background in health will be highly regarded but not essential.**

Please advise any working restrictions (student visa etc).

**Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Greeting patients, answering phones and arranging appointments
- General admin duties i.e. processing incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Liasing with admin staff and Doctors
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail,including couriers
- General cleaning
- All other administrative duties as directed by the Practice Manager

Essential criteria and skills:

- A professional, polite manner with excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate
- Honest, reliable and respectful of others
- Compassionate and empathetic
- Experience in a Customer Service role
- Great team working skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology
- Willing to work flexible hours as required

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $23.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift

- Gordon NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
