Medical Receptionist

We are a new vibrant and growing psychiatry and mental health practice committed to delivering high-quality patient care. We are a warm, inclusive and friendly team who places a high value on our administrative staff. We are looking for a well-presented and motivated Medical receptionist with a can-do attitude. Enjoys a busy environment and is able to handle confidential patient information with discretion. The successful applicant will be working under the direction of the Practice Co-ordinator and Clinic Director/Co-Director. Prior experience with Xestro practice management platform would be an advantage.
Hours include:
MUST be able to work Wednesdays and Fridays, and optional Tuesdays or Thursdays.
8.30am to 5pm or 9am to 5.30pm
MUST HAVE minimum 1 year medical receptionist experience or similiar. Pay dependent on experience.
Key responsibilities will include (not limited to):
- Meeting, greeting and patient care
- Administration of the front desk and phones
- Providing assistance to doctors and clinicians as required
- Patient invoicing, payments and receipting
- Scheduling and diary management
- Other reasonable duties as directed
Close to public transport and plenty of street parking.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 21 per week
**Salary**: $32.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
