GenesisCare has an opportunity for a passionate and caring Patient Transport Officer to join our Southport clinic on a permanent, part-time basis in supporting this courteous service for our patients.
You will be responsible for planning the most efficient travel route to ensure patients are at their scheduled appointments on time, assisting patients on and off the transport vehicle and advising clinical staff of any significant patient related instances in a timely manner.
More specifically, you will:
- Collect patients from the approved locations and transport to the centre via the approved route- Cleaning of the transport vehicle inside and out- Servicing of the vehicle in a timely manner with the approved provider- Be fit and able to drive the vehicle- Adhere to the policies and procedures and/or as directed- Undertake duties to assist the Senior Patient Services Officer and Nursing team as needed

We're interested in hearing from people who have:
- A current drivers licence- Current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one- A good driving record- Ability to organise an optimal travel route- Strong customer skills- Contribute to complying with mechanical safety of the transport vehicle- Strong organisation and communication skills- Proven experience to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
