**The opportunity**:
The Commercial Support Specialist is a member of the Government Solutions APAC Aerospace team who will work closely with the Commonwealth of Australia to support contract management and supplier performance activities.

Reporting to the Team Lead, the Commercial Support Specialist will be responsible for performing procurement and financial services to support Aerospace products within the Aerospace Systems Division, Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group and Department of Defence.

**This position is a Full Time, Permanent opportunity**

**Responsibilities**:
The key responsibilities of the role will include, but is not limited to:

- Support the management and processing of procurement activities (including invoicing) to ensure that contracts are executed in a timely manner and in accordance with policy
- Manage and process invoices to meet payment terms as per contract requirements
- Coordinate miscellaneous quotes through receipt, approval and procurement
- Support the development of contract documents and tools, including gap analysis of contract changes and issues as they arise
- Create detailed Contract Change Proposal (CCP) project plans
- Support the management of contract deliverables and updates
- Support product financial management and associated activities
- Manage outstanding financial commitment to ensure no impact to capability
- Drive positive collaboration activities with stakeholders for deep aircraft maintenance integration
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical position
- Well-developed communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to analyse and initiate priorities to drive successful outcomes
- Willingness to share knowledge to the broader team members
- AGSVA Baseline security clearance

**Desirable**:

- Experience in ASDEFCON contract or procurement management
- Experience in finance and using financial software (e.g., ROMAN / MyFi)
- Governance and assurance experience
