**Job Description**:
Defence has engaged Leidos for a new Program of work to conduct a large migration of business systems. The Program will have a dedicated delivery organisation, and we are seeking highly motivated and appropriately experienced staff to help us deliver outstanding results.

We have an opportunity for an accomplished PMO Manager to head up a newly forming team. You will join a collaborative team while mobilising a multiple-year program.

This role will suit someone with demonstrated experience as a PMO manager driven by scale and complexity.

As this is a leadership role, you will report to the Program Director. You must create instant rapport with the interview team and demonstrate that you can build relationships and influence. Making us laugh would definitely help.

Your role will involve the following:

- Building the governance framework for a PMO;
- Providing project management coaching and mentoring to build capability;
- Assisting with developing and executing the Program reporting framework, including writing program reports;
- Performing the function of Risk Management for the Program leading all activities related to Program Risk;
- Leading PMO staff and leading PMO engagements;
- As applicable, leading and managing minor projects as part of the program remit;
- Working on various deliverables, including interfacing with a complex customer environment.

**Qualifications**:
You’re a seasoned Project Management professional with experience working directly with clients - ideally Defence or Federal Government clients. You also bring:

- Demonstrated experience working with Federal or state government agencies;
- Risk Management experience, including knowledge of the ISO Risk Management principles and experience developing and executing Risk Management frameworks;
- Strong analysis and critical thinking skills with the ability to undertake process reengineering;
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills;
- Experience with creating, reviewing and amending PMO processes and procedures;
- Experience in establishing Benefits Realisation Management Frameworks;
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
- Sound leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills and experience;
- Experienced in MS Project and Visio; and
- Experienced in SharePoint development and administration -ideal but not essential.
