We are a family owned business operating in the fast-paced FMCG industry and are currently seeking a Support Area Manager, to assist in overseeing all retail operations.

Working directly out of our Head Office, you will play any integral part in supporting the operations team to drive our stores and teams to great success.

**To be successful in this role, you need to demonstrate**:

- A background in Retail Store Management.
- A broad range of business / retail knowledge, including marketing and operations.
- An understanding of POS software and hardware would be beneficial.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel / Word / Outlook / PowerPoint)
- Be willing to travel when required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build Store management / Staff relationship through regular store visits and communication.
- Drive operational consistency, to ensure outlets are in line with our business standards, including meeting all legislative requirements.
- Build Store Manager capabilities by delivering ongoing training to Management and Staff, focusing on customer service, compliance, and industry specific programs.
- Identify and provide opportunities to grow sales.
- Coaching to build growth and encourage development of existing teams.
- Identifying staffing issues and recruit new team members.
- Provide reports and liaise with the Group Operations Manager and Head Office team.
- You would have outstanding communication skills, people leadership & coaching skills to successfully influence the teams.
- You take pride in being well organized and able to provide great customer service and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
- You will be self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Good business acumen.
- Experience in retail.
- Competitive remuneration. Salary package includes car allowance

**Salary**: $52,500.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- On call

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Acacia Ridge, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Supervising: 2 years (preferred)
- Retail management: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (required)
