Shape the establishment of Early Learning Victoria and the design and delivery of the first ever Victorian Government owned and operated Early Learning and Childcare Centres.
About Early Learning Victoria
The Victorian Government is establishing 50 government-owned and operated, Early Learning and Childcare Centres, as part of the Best Start, Best Life reforms. These centres will offer long daycare, Three year old Kindergarten and Pre-Prep. The first four centres are will open in 2025, with all 50 open by 2032. Early Learning Victoria (ELV) has been set up as a new business unit within the Department of Education to establish and operate the centres.
About the Role
**Key accountabilities include**:
- Resolving HR enquiries efficiently via a centralised HR mailbox
- Processing, monitoring and adjusting employee system data to ensure accuracy of employee remuneration and entitlements
- Providing advice and guidance on HR processes and best practice on topics including onboarding/offboarding, recruitment & retention, and workforce planning
- Ensuring compliance and quality control in relation to HR policy, process and legislation

Qualifications and Experience
Experience in recruitment and payroll administration within an education or government setting is desirable
Qualifications in Human Resources or related field
