We require a Construction Superintendent, on an Overhead HV Powerlines project in Ghana to manage the local African contractor in the planning and construction of HV powerlines, substations and associated infrastructure.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage daily work packs and provide supervision to all contractor employees and contractors under your control.
- Ensure all electrical statutory testing and maintenance is carried out and recorded as required by your appointment.
- Perform hands on electrical work as required.
- Manage construction HSSE reporting & safe culture.

**Essential Criteria (Mandatory**
- Electrical Engineering or Trade Qualification.
- Remote HV Power Transmission experience, ideally in Africa.
- WA Electrical Contractor License (Nominee) (Ideally)
- Minimum 5 years trade experience
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience
- Valid drivers license minimum class C, HR advantageous
- High Risk Card - WP, DG, LF, CV
- Construction Card (White Card)
- Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systems
- Demonstrated experience in all aspects of HV Electrical work
- Ability to read and interpret Electrical drawings, Schematics and Architectural drawings at a minimum
- Experience in computer based maintenance systems
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Strong leadership skills and cultural understanding of remote work forces
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ideally, experience co-ordinating local work forces in Africa and / or the Middle East

**Desirable Criteria**
- Certificate 4 in Leadership and Management
- Working at Heights Training

The role is in Ghana on a large scale mine site expansion, working with an established crew who have been working projects across Africa for many years.
