Within Light & Wonder, Indirect Procurement and Strategic Sourcing operate as a sub-function of Global Operations. The Strategic Sourcing group is a focused, high-functioning team dedicated to setting the Procurement strategy for all Indirect Categories. The Strategic Sourcing team determines the strategy, selects supply partners, negotiates contracts and terms, and coordinates supplier interactions and the supplier relationship management program.

The IT Sourcing Manager for the Indirect Strategic Sourcing organization will be responsible for identifying and leading projects designed to significantly improve Light & Wonder’s cost structure and build sustained accretive value. The projects are transformational in nature, thus requiring strategic thinking, effective problem structuring, and an ability to influence diverse teams.

Essential Job Functions
- Specific experience in managing technology categories related to IT, Software, Hardware, Telecom, and Services.
- Assist in implementing Global Sourcing strategies for major categories aimed at achieving net cost savings as well as mitigating short-term cost risk.
- Deep understanding of supply, demand, and technical levers that would support the IT strategy roadmap.
- Establish global spend visibility to clearly define category spend baselines, and current suppliers, and track go-forward impact.
- Interface with Finance to link Sourcing savings with a budget.
- Sourcing strategies should include volume aggregation, competitive bidding, low-cost country sourcing, eAuctions, should-cost models, “preferred supplier” programs, and identification of new suppliers.
- Achieve early wins to build organizational confidence and momentum.
- Build a common purpose with key business functional leaders to create a collaborative approach to supplier relationship management. Ensure we are addressing business functional requirements and cost performance.
- Engage with the business functions to identify sourcing opportunities, and drive the RFP process and competitive bidding. Ensure that essential supplier agreements are in place.
- Develop a clear channel of communication and coordination between functional counterparts in the business units.
- Engagement in enterprise-level deployments, and/or new site operations, internal or at the customer.

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated results in driving cost efficiencies in the Indirect space, specifically IT Category.
- Deep understanding of levers to identify and unlock opportunities.
- Multiple years experience as Sourcing Manager thru Sr. Manager level in IT Procurement at an industrial, engineered products manufacturing company, digital, social gaming, software, and/or game development.
- Being experienced with multi-step strategic sourcing processes in a range of categories is a plus.
- Skilled negotiator.
- Experience with leveraged agreements, multi-year contracts, eAuctions, and should-cost models.
- Highly results-oriented and focused on business priorities with a successful record of accomplishments.
- Excellent Supplier Relationship Management skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments concurrently, including the ability to assess and manage priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Must be able to build rapport with Operations and cross-functional colleagues and be able to foster collaborative relationships.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management experience. MBA is a benefit.
- APICS/NAPM, CPIM, or CPM certification or equivalent preferred.
- 5-8 years of work experience in Strategic Sourcing and/or Technology Operations

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Strong knowledge across the IT, Hardware, Services, Telecom, Digital Marketing, Development Tools, and Software Licensing landscape.
- Capable of operating with ambiguity, ability to influence internal stakeholders, and vendor relationships.
- Strength in building relationships with internal stakeholders and with vendors.
- Strong knowledge of the business and long-term strategic goals.
- Superior written, verbal, and telephone skills.
- Strong customer service skills are required.
- The ability to multi-task is required.
- Strong problem-solving, and analytical skills and experience with Business intelligence tools.
