Are you a seasoned leader passionate about delivering impactful housing solutions for vulnerable communities? Join **Uniting NSW.ACT** as our **Head of Housing**, a pivotal member of our Leadership Team, and drive strategy, innovation, and operations for rental housing services across NSW and ACT.

**About the Role**

As Head of Housing, you will oversee all aspects of Uniting’s rental housing operations, ensuring financial sustainability and maximising social impact.

**Strategic Leadership**:
- Translate Uniting’s strategy into actionable plans for the Housing team.
- Actively contribute to cross-functional collaboration to achieve organisational objectives.
- Advocate for and shape affordable housing solutions across Uniting and the sector.
- **Operational Excellence**:
- Oversee rental housing services, ensuring compliance with regulatory, contractual, and quality standards.
- Drive the financial sustainability of rental housing operations.
- Lead the optimisation of rental income through tenant engagement and rent review processes.
- **Advocacy & Innovation**:
- Develop long-term strategies to expand affordable housing, working collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Partner with the Advocacy team to champion housing initiatives for disadvantaged communities.
- **Team Leadership**:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals, fostering a high-performing and inclusive culture.
- Collaborate with Property and Housing colleagues to achieve shared goals.

**About You**

You are an influential leader with a deep understanding of affordable housing and a passion for social impact. Your qualifications and experience include:

- **Essential**:
- Postgraduate and/or bachelor’s qualification in a relevant business field or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in senior leadership roles within large, complex organisations.
- **Expertise in the community housing sector, including regulations, codes, and compliance requirements.**:

- Demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary teams to achieve shared objectives.
- A commitment to driving social change for the most disadvantaged.
- **Desirable**:
- Experience within a human services sector.
