**Your new company**

This Big Four Bank is renowned for its range of innovative financial packages which support a customer’s personal, business or corporate banking needs. Focusing on creating better futures together, the business is looking for someone to help share and participate in helping customers across their Group Operations division. This role can be located in Parramatta or Kogarah and is for a Reconciliations Officer for a 12 month period.

**Your new role**

As a Reconciliations Officer you will:

- Assist in the reconciliation and financial control of hundreds of operational accounts
- Be specialised in your own accounts and cross skilled on all critical accounts
- Reconciliations will include settlements, lease accounts, clearing accounts, PEXA, Mastercard & visa settlements and will be undertaken in accordance with the Reconciliations and Wrap Policies
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement for team and business processes

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience in financial services is a preference while experience in reconciliations is required
- An understanding of the reconciliation and payment process and a background in accounting
- A motivation to learn, a can do attitude and excellent attention to detail in order to conduct multiple crediting and debiting of accounts
- You will be a strong decision maker and problem solver who is agile with a risk mindset
- Comfortable talking to internal and external stakeholders
- Reliable and hardworking with excellent communication skills
