The Role

History Will Be Kind operating at the cross roads of PR, social media and digital communications. Based in Sydney, individuals will work as a key member of the History Will Be Kind team,

This role will focus on the strategic design, management and implementation of communications and social media strategies to engage media/influencers, grow audiences, awareness, affinity and generate positive sentiment across the brands worked on.

To be successful you will first and foremost be a thinker. This will include thinking creatively, pro-actively and analytically to help create and implement high impact, content driven, innovative communications programmes that harness the power of storytelling, across platforms and devices.

You will also be a strong contributor, working closely with a diverse range of clients, media and in
- house social/digital experts and strategists to develop solutions at the crossroads of communications.

We’re looking for new members of the integrated Group team; eclectic characters to contribute to our warm and sometimes, let’s face it, completely mad family.

Clients we are making history with include Etihad Airways, Google, International Convention Centre Sydney, Webjet ANZ, Godfrey’s, Sydney Airport and YouTube.

Who are you?
- You have an innate understanding of public relations and social media - earned, owned and paid build
- You have a drive to consistently push the boundaries and generate stand out results
- A track record of achievement in PR/communications agencies
- You have effective communication skills
- You are a great writer (releases, Q&As, blogs)
- You have strong media knowledge, a love of social and a passion for great stories
- You are a self-starter, pro-active about finding solutions
- You have a passion for new business
- You are naturally curious, highly adaptable and a critical thinker
- You are educated in a relevant discipline
- 3-10 years experiences in Public Relations

Salary packages will range from $60,000-$125,000 p.a, based on level and experience across the Account Executive, Account Manager and Account Director levels. Flexible working arrangements are available. Salary packages include superannuation and will be prorated to reflect engagements of less the 5 days per week.
