As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking a proactive, friendly, and highly organised **Administration Assistant** to join our team.

**The Role**:
You will be the first point of contact for clients and a key support for our team of psychologists. Your role will be varied, involving front-desk reception, scheduling appointments, managing client records, and providing general administrative support.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greeting clients in a warm, professional manner
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining the calendar
- Processing payments, Medicare and private health claims
- Maintaining accurate client records and databases
- Supporting psychologists with administrative needs
- General office duties (filing, stock ordering, tidying)

**Essential Criteria**:

- Previous experience in administration or reception (healthcare or allied health preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software
- High level of attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Professional presentation and a caring attitude toward client wellbeing

**Desirable**:

- Experience using Halaxy or similar practice management software
- Familiarity with Medicare processes
