**Job Opportunity: Casual Warehouse Assistant**

**Position: Casual Warehouse Assistant (3 Days, 24 hours Per Week)**

**Location: Somerton, Victoria**

**Role Overview**: We are seeking a motivated and capable Casual Warehouse Assistant to join our small dynamic team. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in the smooth operations of our warehouse, contributing to the efficient management of incoming and outgoing goods. Your dedication and can-do attitude will be crucial in ensuring our products reach our valued customers on time and in excellent condition.

**Responsibilities**:

- Pick and pack orders accurately, preparing them for shipment according to established guidelines.
- Receive goods into the warehouse, inspecting for quality and accuracy against purchase orders.
- Manage incoming containers, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure timely processing.
- Conduct regular stock counts to maintain inventory accuracy and assist in inventory management.
- Assist in invoicing processes, maintaining documentation accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise warehouse processes and overall efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks such as inventory management and order processing.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with receipting of goods, container management, and stock counting.
- Basic understanding of invoicing procedures and documentation.
- Eager and proactive attitude, with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and challenges.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
- Valid forklift operator's license would be advantageous, but not a necessity.
