Position: Casual Warehouse Assistant (3 Days, 24 hours Per Week)

Location: Somerton, Victoria

Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and capable Casual Warehouse Assistant to join our small dynamic team. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in the smooth operations of our warehouse, contributing to the efficient management of incoming and outgoing goods. Your dedication and can-do attitude will be crucial in ensuring our products reach our valued customers on time and in excellent condition.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick and pack orders accurately, preparing them for shipment according to established guidelines.

  • Receive goods into the warehouse, inspecting for quality and accuracy against purchase orders.

  • Manage incoming containers, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure timely processing.

  • Conduct regular stock counts to maintain inventory accuracy and assist in inventory management.

  • Assist in invoicing processes, maintaining documentation accuracy.

  • Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols.

  • Collaborate with team members to optimise warehouse processes and overall efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks such as inventory management and order processing.

  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

  • Familiarity with receipting of goods, container management, and stock counting.

  • Basic understanding of invoicing procedures and documentation.

  • Eager and proactive attitude, with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and challenges.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.

  • Valid forklift operator's license would be advantageous, but not a necessity.
